📖 Matthew 28:16–20

“Sent forth by the Risen, with purpose so grand,
Who carries His message, across every land?”

As we reach Week 52 of our Scripture Treasure Hunt, we arrive at one of the most powerful moments in Jesus’ life—the Great Commission. After His resurrection, Jesus gathers His disciples and gives them a mission that would change the world forever: “Go and make disciples of all nations.”

In Matthew 28:16–20, Jesus declares His authority and sends His followers out with purpose—to baptize, to teach, and to share God’s love with every nation. This command wasn’t just for the disciples standing on that mountain; it is a calling that reaches us today. Every believer is invited to participate in God’s ongoing work of redemption by living out Christ’s teachings in both word and action.

The beauty of the Great Commission is not just in the command—but in the promise. Jesus assures us, “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” We are never sent alone. His presence gives us confidence, courage, and strength as we share His love in our homes, communities, and beyond.
