Everything Under The Son By: Lisa Szimhardt
Welcome to my page! Please allow me a moment to introduce myself and my page. A long time ago, I had a vision of one day becoming a published writer. I wanted to do it in a newspaper column type of format or even have a published book. I had decided in my early 20's that I would call my column "Everything Under The Sun and Then Some", to give myself room to discuss any topic that came up in the course of life that I might want to write about. That is what is happening now. Life happened and my writing career did not take off until I became involved with this ministry, YOU Ministries, through my friendship with Tammy Becker. I got involved in the blogging and with a prompt from God, this page was born and in Honor of the Holy Spirit who provided the idea of the first big project, "What's Your Story?" (see link below), I changed the name slightly to Everything Under the Son, reflecting everything through the lens of our Savior, Jesus. And the background of Sunflowers? Some of you may not know, sunflowers keep their faces turned toward the sun throughout the day. And like the sunflowers, we must keep our faces turned toward the Son of God throughout the Day. Enjoy the page!
The questions to prompt your story are in the initial blog. Contact me, Lisa, at [email protected] with any questions or comments, and to submit your finished story. What's on this page?
The first section is the most important. What's Your Story is a blog that explains why telling the story of your Salvation, your testimony, is so very important and valuable. It doesn't just help folks find salvation, it also reinforces for us the Truth of our Lord and His work in our lives so we can resist the lies of the Evil One. See the link below for the blog and the questions to help you get started with your story and thus be obedient to the Word of Christ.
The Second section contains a general blog section, Musings, about various topics and all filtered through the lens of Faith.
The Third Section is called "Something Yummy" and provides recipes of various types that you may want to try.
And the Fourth Section is called "Daily Giggle" - one of my former favorite comedians used to say "it's important to have your daily laughsative." I will be providing humor from various Christian and Faith based sources to keep our spirits light. Laughter in the midst of struggle is a great way to keep the light on and focus on what God wants for us.

Remember to get a laugh in whenever possible. Life can be hard and full of frustrations, especially when trying to live a Godly life. But studies show that laughter really is the best medicine. A lighter heart can brighten and broaden your perspective and make solutions to problems easier to find. So this section is dedicated to providing clean jokes to lift your spirits and experience the joy God meant for us to have.
**These jokes were found in various locations around the web.**
If I was forged in fire and later baptized in water, does that make me a hard boiled egg for Jesus?
What time of day did God create Adam? Just before eve.
It wasn't the apple in the tree that got us in trouble, but the pair on the ground.

Here is the testimony I gave and now provide as encouragement to browse the rest of the youministries.com website for many other varied opportunities to enjoy the process of growing in faith.
"Tammy's groups and journaling classes are fun and engaging. the topics are interesting and relevant to the current age those deep dives are really something because they get you really thinking about how you understand how the bible reads and learn how to apply it in your daily life.
I have found great benefit in taking Tammy's groups as she is very fair, Bible centered and uses Scripture as the back drop for just about everything. She encourages everyone to get in the bible and research the things we learn on our own, so that you can use your own discernment that God gives you when reading the Word.
I really love her integrity, discipline and dedication to the Word of God. It is well worth coming to her groups!"
