How to Know That You’re Truly Ready For Eternal Life

Apr 09, 2021

Judgement Day Will Come

Have you ever wondered if you have the gift of eternal life? Do you think that good deeds will guarantee you a spot in heaven? If so, remember that many people die every day, especially in today's situation, when a pandemic has hit the world badly and none of us is safe.

When we die, the good and bad things we've done will be judged by the Lord. If we have sinned against him, we will be punished; but if we haven't, then we'll be given a reward. Do you think you've never sinned against the Lord while you've lived on earth?

Jesus came to earth and lived a sinless life, even though we all struggle with sin. He took the sins of the world upon himself by dying on the cross, so that we could be forgiven. He paid the price with his own blood, died and was buried, but he rose from his grave to fulfill his mission for all who believe in him.

God's Promise

If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior and have repented for your sins, confessing everything to Him, asking for forgiveness wholeheartedly, then you must turn away from your sins and go to Jesus. Give your trust to Him and believe that He already saves you. He promises that we have a wonderful place for all who believed in Him.

Life After Death

Do you believe in life after death? Many people have reported near-death experiences, and some say that they were brought back from death. Although many people interpret this experience differently, it is true for everyone.

When Jesus returns, we will all die. But if you are a Christian, you will be spared from death and live forever with the Lord in heaven. You can help others receive eternal life by sharing your faith with them.

As John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." Let us truly believe in Him and live by Him, then we will know that we can accept and fully have the promise of eternal life.

Confess Your Sins To Jesus

There are two places we will go after death—Heaven and Hell. God has provided a way to be assured of going to Heaven. Sin separates us from our relationship with God. When we die, our souls will be separated from our bodies and sent to either heaven or hell. But how can we make sure that we end up in heaven? When we sin—that is, break God's rules—we fall short of His holy standards. Even Adam and Eve had to leave their paradise because of their sins. The Bible says that what separates us from a relationship with God is sin.

Sin has many consequences, but God will always find a solution for sinners. Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Thank God for Jesus as He died on the cross to save us sinners; He bought heaven for us and not hell. Pray hard, and confess your sins to Jesus. It will never be too late!

Do Not Fear Death

According to the Bible, Jesus freed us from the fear of death by conquering death. He broke the power of the devil, who used to rule over death. The writer of Hebrews 2:14-15 says, ''Since children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil—and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.''

Jesus has saved us from going to hell, he has given us the gift of eternal life, and we should trust in him and accept him as our Lord and Savior.

Here is a simple and quick prayer we can do for us to receive the Lord Jesus Christ in our lives, ‘’Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior.’’

God is Waiting For YOU

God has already paid the debt for our sins, bought heaven for us to live into. All we need to do is ask forgiveness, confess our sins, and accept God's gift of forgiveness and eternal life.

Keep your relationship with God strong, and don't rely on your own abilities to get into heaven. Your relationship with God is important. He wants you to spend time with him and talk to him in prayer.
