Do you know that God's purpose for you is to live in peace with Him and receive eternal life? The Bible says..."...we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 5:1 And, "...the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23. The world is constantly evolving and with that comes noise, distraction and busyness. When do we find the time to nurture the most important relationship in our lives, that of being in the Lords presence? The world creates so many distractions that the younger generations are turning there sides to the Christian Faith. Let's face it, taking the pledge of allegiance out of schools because it says "one country under God," parents deciding to raise their kids "gender neutral," and New York's new abortion law. This is a lot of noise. We are a society removed from God's purpose for our lives... the things of this world will pass so why are many people not enjoying this experience? Where will you stand my friend? Have you accepted God as your personal savior?
God chose to give all of mankind the ability to make their own choices with what we call free will. He gave us the freedom because He loves us...but He also wants us to be mindful and love Him back, respect Him and obey Him. Because of this free will like Adam, mankind has sinned, disobeyed and turned their backs of God. "So (after Adam sinned) the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden..." Genesis 3:23 What is our problem? Sin separates us from God. The Bibles says..."For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God...the wages of sin is death." Romans 3:23; 6:23 Our free will combined with our own selfish ways that lead to disobeying God, is called sin, and it separates us from God. "But your iniquities have separated you from you God' and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear." Isaiah 59:2 Are you experiencing sin and separation? Have you asked God to forgive your sins and accepted Him as your Savior?
There is a remedy that God has provided us with to bridge the problem of separation; the answer is Jesus Christ. Jesus died on the cross and rose 3 days later to pay the penalty for our sins. "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8...and by doing this Jesus completely bridged the gap between God and us by giving his life up on the cross. "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12 God provided the only way and we must make a choice. The Bible says..."God is on one side and all the people on the other side, and Christ Jesus, himself man, is between them to bring them together..." God has a remedy, the cross! "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word (Jesus) and believes He who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life." John 5:24
Jesus bridges the gap!
In the Bible God gives us His instructions for our life. Because of sin God sent His only begotten son Jesus to redeem us and bridge us back to God from our separation. Our response should be to receive Christ as our personal savior. The Bible says..."All the Prophets testify about Him (Jesus Christ) receives forgiveness of sins through his name." Just by believing that Jesus alone will save us, and for asking for forgiveness of our sins we can be saved!
From this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will.
I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.”
Did you pray this prayer? If you sincerely prayed this pray and asked Jesus into your heart and to forgive you of your sins, then rest assured your are headed for a whole new life. This my friend is so exciting!
