Let's get started! In order to make your home spa day a success you must 1) first carve out the time on your schedule, make sure everyone in the house is aware this is your time (no bathroom sharing here…door will be locked) and yours alone.  If you have to, arrange for a sitter or have the hubby take the kids somewhere for a few hours. If you only have a hubby…kick him out! Whatever you do, make sure that this time, is your very own time, to pamper yourself and relax!

Make sure you have enough candles to calmly glow you room for light…and of course do not use the electric lights.  3) Bring in your  and start up some aromatherapy by adding some calming essential oils such as lavender. 4) Who doesn’t like some calming music when you’re at the spa!  Make sure you have a long playlist of classical, piano, or other styles that encourage peace for you. 5) Hang up a freshly washed fluffy robe on the hook and if you are one of the lucky ones who own a towel warmer…awe that’s the cherry!  Now you have all the essentials set up for a perfect ambiance!
